A correction, change or modification to the main contents of the standard.

DOWNLOAD
The transmission of a file or data from one computer to another over a network, usually from a larger server to a user device.
DRAFT/DIS – DRAFT INTERNATIONAL STANDARD
A preliminary version of a standard with a final version to be published later.
DRM
Digital Rights Management – A term used to control and manage access to copyrighted material that requires a plugin in order to access a publication.
ERRATA
A list of errors and their corrections inserted or provided in a separate page or publication.
FILE OPEN
A 3rd party plug-in that has to be installed in order to open and read SPDFs (secure PDFs).
FDIS – FINAL DRAFT INTERNATIONAL STANDARD
The final draft of an international standard for public review prior to final publication.
HISTORICAL
Version of a standard containing older content.

MOST RECENT
Version of a standard containing current content.
REAFFIRMED (R)
The standard was reviewed and republished by the copyright holder without changes to its content.
REDLINE
“The “redline” in Redline Standards refers to the use of red lines to cross out anything that was removed from the previous version.
REVISION
A standard that has been reviewed and revised.

SDO/CONTENT PROVIDER
Stands for Standard Developing Organization that provides the contents of the standard.
